I have been an animal lover since before I could walk.  I decided at a young age that I wanted to have lots of animals in my life.  I have had personal horses all of my life since I was a teenager, working at several large barns first as a caretaker and then as a professional trainer beginning when I was 17. 

I have had several dogs of my own and have volunteered in rescues, as well as fostering dogs.  I also had the opportunity to volunteer at a rescue with sanctuary pets who were not deemed adoptable.  This was life-changing because they taught me so much.  As an operations manager for several PetSmart locations over many years, I gained valuable insight into the small animal industry to add to my extensive equine experience.  I would be honored to take care of your pets during your next getaway.  Meet my current foster dog, Jerry and late thoroughbred gelding, Bubba!
